Augmented Reality: Mobilistar makes the world clickable

via Beyond The Beyond by Bruce Sterling on 5/7/11

*Okay, this is a typically wobbly Scoble vernacular video, but look how cute and natty-looking those AR developers are! Howard Ogden there has got a freakin’ handkerchief tucked in his suit pocket, and his augmented sidekick @Tracy_Falke sports some well-thought-out enhancing accoutrements.

*So, it’s image recognition, what’s the big deal. Well, it’s got an augmented music-player built-in! No kidding, look! if you had one of these Bloom Studio infoviz interfaces, instead of just “clicking on” the world, you could reach out there and kinda swipe it around like Silly Putty.
