This Bleeping Court Decision Could Change The Political Conversation

George Carlin is smiling...

A court ruling today will give candidates for Congress plenty to talk about.

As the New York Times reports here, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals came out in favor of the First Amendment or cursing on television, or a lighter regulatory hand, depending on your point of view.

It tossed out the Federal Communications Commission's indecency policy, saying it was "unconstitutionally vague, creating a chilling effect that goes far beyond the fleeting expletives at issue here."

"Broadcasters have no way of know what the FCC will find offensive," the court said.

If only George Carlin had lived to see this day ... wonder what he'd say.
