Bryan Fischer, of the American Family Association states that Christians need to be involved in politics, otherwise government will be run by atheists and pagans.
His reasons are illogical but his statement already projects that. Fisher also thinks no mosques should be allowed to be built anywhere in the United States.
He further says each mosque is “dedicated to the overthrow of the American government” which shows us exactly why religion and politics should be separate. He may not be standing behind the pulpit, but if people seeking a theocracy had their way, everyone in government would be.
While extolling the virtues of Christian politics, at the same time he wants to take away the freedom for Americans to choose their religion. Freedom of religion. They are rewriting the Constitution.
If that’s not radical enough, watch this video:

So Fischer says that, in his experience, the internal dealings of the church are way worse than anything he ever saw in politics … but the reason that Christians need to be involved in politics is so that they can “clean that mess up”? So who is causing all the messes in the church then? Atheists and pagans?
Every time an emphasis is stressed on anyone in political office needing to believe in one faith only, it damages their cause. We are America and we get to choose for ourselves.
Fisher, doesn’t choose. We do. This is dangerous talk.
This isn’t:
